You do not need to create an account in order to make a payment to the Wag the Dog Brand Firm, however, you are required to provide at a minimum your name, address, phone number, email address and identifying data regarding your credit card. We take appropriate steps to protect the security of your personal information. Our Directors, Staff and Volunteer Partnerships who have access to, and are associated with processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitor's personal data.

 

Information for Online Transactions

Some areas of the Site may allow you to make online Payments or other transactions. In connection with such transactions, we collect data necessary to complete the transaction and other information that is furnished by you. This information may be furnished to a third party in order to facilitate the transaction. All sensitive information (such as your credit card information) provided to the Wag the Dog Brand Firm through our website is transmitted either to us or to our credit card processor which are PayPal, SquareUp and/or other payment collection sites - see PayPal privacy notice - see SquareUp privacy notice). No credit card information is stored on our site. Some of the safeguards used are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to data centers, and information access authorization controls.

 

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can ever be 100% secure; we cannot ensure or completely guarantee the security of such information.

Surveys

At times, you may be asked to complete survey questions that appear on the Site. If you agree to participate in the survey, you will be asked to review and accept certain additional terms and conditions relating to use of the information you furnish, which may include personally identifiable information. Aggregate Information

We use general traffic, site usage, and length of stay information for statistical reporting and may share such reports with organizations with which we have a business relationship, i.e. our web host Wix.com. This aggregate information does not personally identify you.

 

Other Information

There are occasions when we will ask for additional information, such as professional specialities, interests, title, or your organizational affiliation. We do this to better understand and respond to your needs, and provide you with benefits that may be valuable to you.

 

Use of Information

Your information will be used to issue invoices, administer accounts, collect and process payments and to send information to you about the Wag the Dog Brand Firm and our programs. You may opt-out of mailings (both postal and email) at any time if you do not wish to receive non-business critical information from us.

 

The Wag the Dog Brand Firm will not sell your email address for commercial purposes, however, to support our fundraising and awareness efforts and within our community outreach programs we may provide your personal information to third party organizations to support these efforts toward fulfilling our Mission Statement. By using this Site, donating to our cause and contacting us, you expressly agree to the knowledge that your information may be shared.
