I love my work! Especially when it has purpose. Make your Mission my purpose.

With over 30 years of experience Julie brings a vast knowledge base in several industries with well-rounded business acumen. Early in her career a gift for public relations was discovered; she was a multiple pageant title holder, spokes-model and a cable television show hostess, Straight Talk with Art Levine, in Long Beach, CA. Julie founded and served as President of a nationally recognized animal rescue. Her foresight when requesting non-profit status created several sub-divisions of her corporation; a programs included BullNannies – raising Pit Bull puppies as therapy dogs for children with autism; Rescue Retirement – placing senior dogs with retired individuals at reduced adoption fees; Bow Wow Bid Now – an online auction fundraising site; Bones & Scones a retail store; Beauregard Stubbs’ merchandise (w/ Karen Halker). These programs created a profit center to fund the nonprofit’s Mission.

Julie founded Lady Luck Consulting, LLC a Public Relations firm that served many clients; during this time she was responsible for the collaboration and inception Shorty’s Charities Inc., the non-profit philanthropic organization, with Shorty Rossi of Pit Boss. Her “A Dog A Day Campaign” helped rescue groups across the nation gain exposure for their adoptable dogs through the use of Shorty’s celebrity. Her campaign “Fund-A-Pitty” assisted bully breed groups in need of urgent need of funding for dogs in their care. She spearheaded the fundraising effort in 2013 “Spyder the burn victim” which was captured by ABC10 News for her client Shadowridge Veterinary Hospital, generating over $20,000 in a matter of four days. The reunion with the dog’s owner was covered by the media as well. One of her publicity projects includes the internationally viral campaign to #savePupcakesChristmas After closing Lady Luck Consulting, Julie partnered up with Karen Halker Miller again creating a Brand Management firm, Wag the Dog, Inc for which Julie served as CFO and Director or Personal Brand for Performing Artists, Radio Personalities, Authors and Public Speakers. She co-founded TRIO Consultants, and served as the COO and “The Family” for this advocacy firm for individuals with hidden disabilities. Simultaneously, from 2014 – 2018 she served as a Board Member for Hoaloha Foundation, an Autism Charity for Adults.

In 2018, Julie Founded Hold My Beer Foundation as CKO which serves the caretakers of those affected by disabilities defined under SAMHSA in honor of her personal experiences and struggles with her own children; biological and foster.

She currently serves in the role of Director of Fundraising & Events for 1776 Forever Free and lends her expertise in the areas of nonprofit compliance in the area of fundraising for Dr. Cordie’s nonprofit.
